FULL STACK WEB DEVELOPER

Corus360 is currently seeking a Full Stack Web Developer for a hospitality company in SC.

PRINCIPAL FUNCTION:
Reporting to the Senior Technical Director, the Full Stack Web Developer contributes to success by developing, modifying and supporting enterprise web and mobile technology solutions.

The Full Stack Web Developer will develop, test, debug, document, implement and support complex web and mobile software applications.

The Full Stack Developer will be expected to evaluate emerging web and mobile technologies and to identify opportunities where the adoption of these technologies will improve business processes and/or applications.

Working alone or as part of a project team, the Full Stack Web Developer will be required to think strategically and to be proactive in identifying problems, raising concerns and offering solutions.

The Full Stack Web Developer will partner closely with the IT and business operations teams to ensure overall standards for accuracy, efficiency, quality and performance are upheld as it relates to its technology and applications.

ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
Develops, tests, debugs, documents and implements complex web and mobile software applications.

Initiates peer reviews for new applications to ensure deliverables adhere to software development standards, are of high quality and meet user expectations.

Working with the development team, establishes and maintains standards for application development, testing and documentation.

Leads or collaborates with the project team to keep projects on schedule by coordinating activities and monitoring project schedules and costs.

Coaches and mentors other less experienced team members, performs cross-training and facilitates information sharing among team members.

Contributes to the development and documentation of software application support processes.

Resolves and helps mitigate software application issues, anticipates long term support issues and plans for corrective actions; may perform root cause analysis to identify permanent resolutions to business process or software application issues.

Supports other business and technology teams in resolution of end-user issues.

Evaluates emerging web and mobile technologies and makes recommendations for implementation based on improvements to business processes and/or applications.

Contributes to the goal of making #1 in Event Hospitality and the #1 Employer of Choice through personal commitment and leading by example.

Performs other related tasks and duties as assigned by the Senior Technical Director.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE, SKILLS & ABILITIES:
Experience developing database driven web applications, web services and mobile applications utilizing PHP, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Extensive knowledge of SQL and experience with MySQL, DB2, or MS-SQL

Knowledge of MVC architecture and experience with MVC Frameworks (Zend, Symphony, ASP.NET MVC, etc.)

Proficiency with development and debugging tools including IDEs (Zend Studio, PHPEclipse, Aptana, etc)

Experience using version control (Git, etc.) and issue tracking (JIRA, Bugzilla, etc.) systems

Knowledge of other OO web programming languages (Python, Node.js, etc.) and/or other OO high level languages (Java, C#, etc.) and OO concepts is a plus.

Proficiency in web server administration (Apache, Nginx or IIS) is a plus.

Experience with cloud computing environments (AWS, Azure, etc.) is a plus.

Strong analytical and problem solving skills

Ability to organize and to communicate clearly and concisely, both orally and in writing

Ability to quickly learn new technologies and application systems

Proven ability to work effectively with all levels of management and staff

Ability to participate in and promote the concept of a team development environment

Self-starter who can work independently, meet deadlines, multi-task and set and achieve measurable goals
