Full Stack Web Developer

Friendly Embassy is seeking a web application developer with 4-6 years of experience.

Friendly Embassy builds large, high quality web applications from the ground up. We work with traditional B2B enterprise clients as well as with consumer focused companies with beautiful web apps. We currently build using React and Laravel, but aren’t defined by our toolsets. In past work at agencies, we’ve built things for great clients like Red Robin, Arctic Cat, UnitedHealthcare and Target, so we’ve been around the block a bit.

This position would primarily be developing custom web applications for clients; most of your time would be spent architecting and executing code.

This may describe your technical abilities

• You have 4-6 years of experience building web platforms

• You’ve spent at least 1-2+ years working in a modern JavaScript Library/Framework (preferably React, but no problem learning a new framework on the job)

• You’re up to speed with Git and Git workflows

• You know at least a little CSS; ideally you can build out SASS from designs * You probably know some WordPress, but it’s not essential

Beyond that

• You care about people and lifting them up

• You’re interested in using tech to do good and serve others

• You have a passion for development and understand the balance between staying up to date and diving deep into proven tools

• You try and keep things positive
