Full-Stack Software Engineer

Rival IQ is seeking a software developer to join our community of engineers.

We want someone who loves learning, is curious, who gets things done, who is passionate about building great products, who enjoys sweating the details that make a UX great, and who relishes the challenge of turning data (10TB and accelerating rapidly) into insight. Most of all we want someone who is excited to collaborate in a small, capable team where everyone has real impact. We highly value great engineering and great teamwork, and we use hire-by-audition to evaluate potential teammates.

Our technology stack includes Node.js, Babel, Bootstrap, Marionette, Heroku, AWS, Postgres, ElasticSearch, and Weka. Haven’t used all of these technologies? No worries, we encourage learning and enjoy teaching. There is an opportunity to contribute across the board, including front-end, back-end, devops, and more.

Candidates should have an undergraduate degree in computer science or a closely related field, and 0-5 years of professional software engineering experience. Visa sponsorship is not currently available.

We currently have 18 employees. Our office is located in downtown Seattle, on Westlake Park, a vibrant location with great transit access.
