CDK is looking for innovative Mid-Level Software Engineers to enhance and expand CDK’s Service Edge Platform. As a member of a small focused team, you have an opportunity to influence and are expected to innovate creative solutions. Position Overview:
This is a high-growth, high-visibility mid-level position in engineering building the next generation of enterprise class software solutions at CDK. The individual’s primary responsibilities include architecture and framework extensions, development of services and components (design, coding, testing), system/subsystem definition, interfaces, product architecture, technical leadership, and team guidance. Position requires extensive hands-on technical expertise coupled with ingenuity, product knowledge, industry knowledge, and communication skills.

Candidates will work with Global Team members, architects and product managers in the early and continuous delivery of high quality software products that delight our customers. Must be a results oriented individual, who can readily demonstrate comprehensive use of agile software development principles to achieve the desired business outcome.

Create sophisticated, imaginative and efficient front and back-end solutions for a large scale complex application

Develop high-quality code, establishing development standards and practice by example.

Design reusable components by utilizing various standard frameworks.

Work with product owners to create backlog, evaluate requirements; make technology recommendations that support optimal construction, maintenance and performance.

Understanding the legacy code base and convert it to more modular using the advanced technologies on a need basis

Working with cross functional teams like Application Infrastructure team, Operations, Support, Sales…etc

Leverage the latest developments in web technologies.

Serve as a technical resource and mentor.

Passionate and committed with strong sense of ownership and craftsmanship.

Strong communication skills (interpersonal, written, and verbal).

Highly proficient with .Net and Devops Tools

Experience with both backend and frontend technologies.

Experience with Spring, C# , java script.

Experience with PHP , React is a plus

Experience in Testing Frameworks like WebTest or Selenium.

Extensive experience with Object Oriented Programming.

Experience with test-driven development in an agile software environment.

Strong database skills (SQL).

Strong knowledge of web and N-tier architecture.

Ability to technically document software deliverables through use cases, design documents and technical specifications.

Education:
A MS/BS degree in Computer Science or equivalent education/experience.
