Full Stack Java Developer

Responsibilities

Lead the gathering of functional requirements, developing technical specifications, and project & test planning
Designing & developing web & mobile applications, prototypes, or proofs of concepts (POC’s)
Act as a technical leader: Mentoring junior engineers, applying technical expertise to challenging programming and architecture/design problems and driving the team to engineering and operational excellence in a high-velocity agile environment.
Resolve defects/bugs during QA testing, pre-production, production, and post-release patches
Work cross-functionally with various Intuit teams: product management & QA/QE to drive forward results
Contribute to the design of the product
Demonstrate passion and contribute to best practices for design, coding standards and release process

Required Qualifications

· 10+ years experience designing, prototyping and developing web or mobile applications

· BS/MS in computer science or equivalent work experience

· Strong experience in React JS or AngularJS, JQuery, Bootstrap, Java script

· Experience with unit testing & Test Driven Development (TDD) using Karma and Jasmine, Mocha, Chai or Jest, Angular Test, Protractor

· Familiarity with front-end build and packaging systems like Grunt, Gulp, Bower, Browserify, WebPack, NPM

· Experience with CSS3, HTML5, SEO, LESS

· Exposure to Node.js is a plus

· Experience with developing single-page, responsive web & mobile application

· Solid experience with JavaScript, including concepts like asynchronous programming, closures, types, and ES6

· Knowledge of cross-browser compatibility issues and client-side performance considerations

· Polyglot developer who is comfortable working on Microsoft .NET stack and Java/J2EE
