Full Stack Engineer / Magician

We are looking for a brilliant full stack developer to help design, develop, and deploy a next-generation cloud-native healthcare platform.

Were you a MEAN stack developer in a past life, but you’ve grown tired of MongoDB and now prefer Redis and PostgreSQL? Have you developed and deployed services in AWS, particularly for a healthcare or marketing product? Do you want to work on some magic with other brilliant engineers on cutting-edge technology as part of an agile team?

We use Node.js to write services and we use Angular (4), React, and TypeScript for front-end development. We make outstanding products and we expect amazing things from those we choose to work with us!

Responsibilities:

• Write well-designed, maintainable, and testable code
• Review requirements and architect suitable solutions
• Estimate the complexity and cost of alternative solutions
• Integrate software components into a fully functional software system
• Assist in software quality assurance procedures
• Document and maintain software functionality
• Troubleshoot, debug and upgrade existing software
• Deploy releases and evaluate user feedback
• Comply with project plans and industry standards
• Participate in code reviews and help mentor junior developers

Requirements:

• 3 years professional development experience required
• Experience developing web applications using React, Ember, or Angular required
• Experience developing software in Node.js required
• Experience with test-driven development and agile process
• Proficiency in software engineering tools
• Working knowledge of Elasticsearch strongly preferred
• Experience with MongoDB, PostgreSQL, SQL Server and Redis preferred
• Working knowledge of Docker, software containerization, and AWS Lambda preferred
• Experience with product development preferred
• Knowledge of design patterns & agile development methodology preferred
• BSc degree in Computer Science, Engineering or relevant field preferred
