Full Stack Developer

GENERAL SUMMARY

This position is responsible for collaboratively developing responsive web applications and prototypes with the Application Architect and other developers. The team works closely with Business Analysts and business users. The goal is to delight internal and external business users and customers via frequent delivery of new features and improvements. Responsible for following IT best practices and participate actively in Agile work processes.

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop custom external and internal facing web applications by using responsive web design, Angular2, HTML5, SCSS (Sassy CSS), RESTful Node JS/ Express web services, Mongo DB and Oracle

Provides web application development and Prototyping/POC Elaboration

Automate build, test, and deploy processes using webpack, karma / jasmine, Jenkins, BitBucket, Artifactory and Docker

Integrate custom applications and services with third party applications and cloud services (e.g., Salesforce, Google MAPs, etc.)

Manage task lists via JIRA and record design details in Confluence

Work closely with the Application Architect and Business Analysts to gather requirements and develop web applications using modern portal and CMS technologies

Implements OWASP web security principles

Provide day-to-day support by fixing bugs, and implementing functional and technical enhancements

Support and interact with users and staff on various work-related issues

Performs other related duties as assigned

REQUIRED KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND ABILITIES

Strong working knowledge of responsive web design

Strong working knowledge of Web Services topics (REST, JSON, SOAP)

Experience with payment services, e.g. authorize.net and/or PayPal

Experience with cloud-based services

Experience with databases (MongoDB, Oracle, MS SQL Server )

Experience with Google Analytics and current tagging applications

Strong working knowledge of Windows, Mac and Linux OS

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE

Bachelors’ degree in an information technology-related area or equivalent experience.

Three (3) years of recent and verifiable web development experience that includes implementation using full system development life cycle.

Develop web applications using various libraries and frameworks such as jQuery, Bootstrap, Angular, Node JS, Java/Tomcat, Apache and PHP.

Experience working as member of an Agile development team.

WORK ENVIRONMENT/PHYSICAL DEMANDS

1. Travel Requirements: Must be able to travel up to 10% time

2. Weight Lifting Requirements: Normal office work 20 lbs
