Full Charge Bookkeeper

We are seeking a full-charge bookkeeper for a multiple location restaurant enterprise. We own and operate 4 restaurants in New Mexico and are based in Santa Fe.

• Bookkeeping and accounting concepts
• Restaurant industry experience is preferred
• Great Organizational skills and Orderliness
• Education-College Degrees achieved or in process preferred
• Strong communication and organization skills.
• Strong experience with Excel

Primary responsibilities:

All of the following duties apply to four separate restaurant locations accounted for in four separate QuickBooks files.

• Daily download of receipts and disbursements information from point-of-sale system (QSR) into QuickBooks.
• Daily reconciliation of downloaded receipts and disbursements activity included communication with restaurants.
• Daily update of the Rolling Cash Flow for each restaurant bank accounts. Basic Daily Bank Reconciliations.
• Preparation of accounts payable detail and check runs weekly.
• Preparation of payroll report (Budget vs QSR Report vs Actual Payroll Cost)
• Coordination with outsourced payroll provider to input and reconcile payroll activity into QuickBooks
• Reconciliation of monthly bank accounts.
• Preparation of monthly CRS/GRT payment.
• Preparation and analysis of period end financial statements for final review by CPA Firm and Ownership.
• Understanding of Restaurant Software and its interface with Accounting. QSRonLine is the program.

Hours: Monday thru Friday; 5 to 6 hours per day. Preferred 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM.
