Frontend Developer

MEG is seeking an experienced Frontend Developer with 5 years of hands-on development skills. In support of both our creative and programming teams, you will help build a variety of web sites, email campaigns, software interfaces, and digital marketing programs. We serve an active roster of Fortune 500 companies who expect strict attention to detail, prompt delivery, and innovative ideas.

Candidates should feel very confident in their ability to design and develop responsive web sites from the ground up using today’s modern technologies and following industry best practices. Since the market is ever changing, we expect all of our team members to continue to grow their skill sets by trialing new software and techniques.

To apply, you should be able to:

• Help produce visually engaging user experiences
• Design and execute responsive interfaces
• Confidently code HTML5 and CSS3
• Understand and manipulate jQuery
• Work within most of the Adobe Creative suite
• Read and write front end requirements
• See the difference between 10px Arial and 12px Open Sans
• Code an email that works across all platforms including Outlook
• Develop templates within common CMS systems
• Use design patterns in reusable frameworks
• Tell a joke without giving away the punchline

Ideal candidates will also have:

• 5 years of experience in a professional environment
• Proficient JavaScript skills

You must have:

• An eagerness to work effectively so you have time for the exciting projects
• Passion for visually engaging user experience
• A good eye for details and high standards in UX
• Authorization to work in US

Candidates will be considered at either our Minneapolis or North Brunswick, NJ offices. No relocation offered.
