Front End/Back End Web Developer

ARI Financial Group is seeking a full time Front End & Back End Web Developer. The position will be based in our main office in Aventura, Florida.

Job Description

We’re looking for web designer/ programmer with experience in creating enterprise sites, database integration, front and back end and has a solid understanding of web usability, current design trends, and can hand-code HTML (5). We also expect you to be skilled in CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, MySQL RDBMS, Responsive Web Development, and PHP. Ideally you would also have a strong design background and solid Photoshop and Illustrator skills. You’ll be joining a great team of talented professionals, working for a great brand, with great opportunities for growth.

Responsibilities

– Design and/or develop functional and appealing webpages/applications based on usability, using a combination of markup languages to code web pages

– Provide website maintenance and enhancements

– Create quality mock-ups and prototypes on tight timelines

– Develop and test across multiple browsers, platforms, and devices, including smartphones and tablets

– Optimize application for maximum speed and scalability.

Skills and Qualifications

– A bachelor’s degree in computer sciences or a related field, or equivalent experience

– Self-motivated, ability to work independently and efficiently

– Excellent management and organizational

– Excellent problem solving and communication skills

– Curiosity for learning new technologies and methods

– Demonstrated strong front-end and back-end development skills

– Strong multi-tasking capabilities and organizational skills

Requirements

– Proficient understanding of web markup, including HTML/HTML5, CSS/CSS3

– Basic understanding of server-side CSS pre-processing platforms, such as SASS.

– Proficient understanding of client-side scripting and JavaScript frameworks, including jQuery.

– Experienced PHP developer

– Proficient understanding of cross-browser compatibility issues and ways to work around them.

– Proficient understanding of code version tools, such as SVN

– Good understanding of SEO principles and ensuring proper implementation
