You are a talented, competent Front End Developer with skill and passion for JS ES6 development. You thrive in being a team player and taking on key roles in the design, development, and management of web applications.

You are adept at working closely with teams Software Developers as well as partnering with product managers to translate business requirements into creative and practical solutions. Your talents and dedication are highly valued and you have demonstrable skills in a variety of latest front end technologies including Node, React and Backbone.

RedBrick Health’s Front End Development team work together to translate business requirements into innovative and practical software solutions while adhering to and advancing technical standards to the advantage of RedBrick Health, our clients and consumers. They understand and leverage cutting edge technologies and use best practices to support software through the entire Agile development lifecycle, including automated testing, code review, continuous delivery, performance tuning and production support

RedBrick Health’s development teams embrace and leverage open source technologies while following RedBrick’s secure coding practices to develop code to provide confidentiality, integrity, and availability of consumer information.

Moreover they stay current on evolving security risks for web based applications, (e.g. OWASP top ten), identify security risks in software systems and propose mitigation solutions, and recommend security features for consumer facing systems.

What you bring to the team.

• Bachelor of Science degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electrical Engineering or Management Information Systems.
• At least 3 years of experience in front end web development using JavaScript and current JavaScript frameworks.
• Samples of your code to share
• Knowledge of scalable web application development and hands on experience with, Node, React, and ES6.
• You are familiar with the latest JavaScript libraries practices and patterns.
• You possess the drive and natural curiosity to learn new technologies and programming languages and have the ability to Problem Solve by looking at the detail.
• You are positive, eager desire to code and be part of a team, and you have a true passion for programming.
• Experience with and understanding of the benefits of the Continuous Delivery Model.
• Dedicated to collaboration, innovation, team work and knowledge sharing, you possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• As a strong advocate for the consumer you have a passion for creating compelling user experiences
• You are currently residing or relocating to the Twin Cities area on your own.

You will stand out among others if you also offer:

• Full-stack development experience
• UX/IA experience a plus
• Strong understanding of Software Engineering Principles and Practices particularly object oriented design concepts and MV* design patterns
• Past experience interacting with JVM technologies such as Groovy.
• Exposure to testing frameworks, including Cucumber and Mocha
