Front End Web Developer – Contract

Antidote 71 is seeking an Web Developer/Designer on a contract basis to work as client assignments dictate. As our web business continues to grow, you will work directly with one of our Managing Partners and our creative team to build client websites and landing pages.

Attention to detail and the ability to meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment is a must.

Candidate must be:

• Self motivated and able to work as part of a team
• Organized and detail oriented
• Effective in an environment where speed and accuracy are key
• Able to prioritize daily, weekly and monthly tasks and projects effectively
• Up-to-date on current web development trends and modern functionality

Qualifications and experience desired:

• 3+ years web design and development experience
• Primary experience in web development including the WordPress platform
• Utilize and hand code valid HTML, XHTML and CSS, including responsive development as necessary
• Experience working with and/or writing JavaScript, JQuery, HTML5, MySQL and PHP
• Content Management Systems
• Web analytics integration and measurement
• Search engine optimization

Candidates with a strong portfolio sites as well as strong project management skills will be given preference.

A 2-year or 4-year college degree is also preferred but not required.
