Job Skills / Requirements

Summary: Seeking an energetic, out of the box, highly collaborative .NET developer with strengths in SQL Server TSQL and VB.Net WinForms. This individual will be involved in the development and support of existing VB.NET / SQL Server Windows.

Work with the front-end User Interface, Business Logic, as well as Service and Data Layers

Unit Test and Cross Test of your work before handing it off to our QA

Working in a collaborative Agile environment

• Drive and initiate improvement of internal processes and procedures
• Lead in design of new solutions based on requirements
• Improve software performance and utilization
• Understand, assist in defining and implementation of technologies
• Identify tools to assist developers
• Evaluate new technology and its potential use
• Participate in hiring process and new employee onboarding

Qualifications

• 5+ years of programming experience in Windows or Web applications using VB.NET
• 5+ years of SQL Server 2000, 2005 or 2008 experience; with SQL Server schema design and TSQL
• Advanced knowledge of programming IDE (Visual Studio, Android Studio, xCode)
• Advanced skill in building, testing, and implementing applications
• SQL Server, including DTS/SSIS, Profiler and Optimization
• ASP.Net / Web Application Development
• Windows and Web Services
• Crystal Reports
• Infragistics Controls
• Microsoft TFS and Microsoft CRM
• Silverlight or WPF
• Advanced skill in building, testing, and implementing applications
• Advanced knowledge of Agile Team skillset
• Develop solutions to complex issues with little to no guidance
• Team player – willingness to adapt to existing practices
