TiVo Analytics:

As entertainment options grow and evolve, TV networks and service providers face new challenges in understanding their audiences and subscribers. At TiVo, our Analytics team combines the power of big data and cloud processing in our predictive analytics solutions to help these businesses optimize campaigns by audience and make decisions based on actual consumer behavior.

TiVo has developed a revolutionary cloud-based analytics platform that integrates massive data from set-tops, smart TVs, tablets and stream servers – basically anywhere that video is consumed – to deliver timely intelligence and actionable insights by leveraging big data and predictive analytics techniques.

This is a Summer Intern Position.

We are looking for individuals who are passionate about working with large amounts of data and who are excited to use Big Data to revolutionize the way TV and video advertising is placed. We want exceptional individuals who are excited to be part of a small, hardworking team building a new product from inception.

What you will do:

• Work to design and develop web-based user interfaces for Rovi Analytics products. Design of these applications will include design of both data visualizations and user workflows
• Work in an agile, SCRUM driven environment to deliver new, innovative products Rovi Analytics customers
• Stay current with relevant technology in order to maintain and/or improve functionality for authored applications.
• Work with other UX resources (both on-shore and off-shore), as necessary, to complete project deliverables

What you need for this position:

• Experience with UX/javascript development
• Computer science or related technical degree
• Strong javascript skills, preferably with proficiency in object-oriented javascript programming
• HTML5 /CSS3 and responsive layouts
• Proficiency with AJAX / JSON
• Ability to collaborate with other UX and server engineers
• Proficiency with D3js desired.
