Front End / DevOps Development Engineer

• Responsible for automating the deployment of a suite of microservices
• Develop and Establish best practices for DevOps implementations
• Convert high-level deployment processes into well structured, optimized code
• Identification of new technological toolchain/implementation trends in DevOps
• Foster innovation by exploring, investigating, recommending, benchmarking and implementing DevOps practices for the platform
• Align with other scrum teams regarding deployment requirements in the cloud
• Guide and mentor developers on implementing Continuous Integration, Delivery, and Deployment
• Work effectively with other local and global development teams

• Working in a fast paced environment with focus on test driven development and CI/CD/DevOps
• Ability to solve practical problems and deal with a variety of concrete variables in situations where only limited standardization exists
• Basic knowledge and experience in the area of machine learning in the cloud
• Strong desire to learn a variety of technologies and processes with a “can do” attitude
• Ability to own a complete toolchain/functional area – from development approach to complete support / going alongside the fast pace of new technological development
• Willingness to travel internationally

P* *rofessional Experience & Education

S* *pecific skills & Knowledge (Ex: Language, IT skills)

• BSc/MSc Computer Science, Software Engineering, or related degree
• At least 3 years hands-on working experience with the following technologies: Git, Docker
• Must have experience with Continuous Integration and Deployment tools
• Preferred:
• Java/Spring experience
• Team Foundation
• Experience in agile and scrum methodologies

• Fluent in English is a must. German or other additional languages are beneficial
• Global travel is part of the role but expected to be less than 10% of the time
• Able to work in network structures and cross-functional, multi-cultural teams
• Outgoing, open, transparent, and communicative
• Open minded to new ideas and concepts
• Self-organized, structured and organized
• Affinity for IT technologies
