Front-end Developer

The MatrixCare R&D team is looking for a Front-end Developer to design and code industry-disruptive products with the latest tools and technologies.

As our Front-end Developer you will:

  • Blend your unique talents with those of your scrum-mates to produce amazing solutions
  • Support the product through its full life cycle of design, code, unit test, and maintenance
  • Satisfy customers with your keen ability to understand their perspective
  • Provide new functionality and update existing functionality in current product
  • Develop rock-solid software by writing tests and evangelizing quality every day
  • Troubleshoot and resolve system performance issues and squash-bugs with ninja-like skill
  • Learn, Discover, Evolve and Mentor continually

Skills and Experience needed for the Front-end Developer position:

  • Strong passion for engineering software and an insatiable thirst to learn and grow
  • Firm grasp of software engineering best practices and why they are important
  • Proven track record building great software
  • 4+ years of professional experience developing with the latest front-end technologies which include but not limited to Angular, Angular JS, CSS3 and CSS Preprocessors, HTML5, JavaScript, TypeScript, jQuery to enable successful cross browser development.
  • 4+ years of experience consuming/utilizing RESTful Services and APIs with front-end applications and frameworks.
  • Experience with Front-end libraries such as Bootstrap 4 and Material Design
  • Experience with full product lifecycle development processes in a software company
  • Experience developing enterprise software applications in an n-tier architecture
  • Experience documenting technical requirements
  • Advanced skills debugging, diagnosing and resolving issues
  • Strong Interpersonal skills required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in computer science or equivalent experience
  • An obsession with building great user experiences. Our UIUX team is tasked with coming up with amazing UX; we need front-end developers who can keep up. Note that this is not a design role.
  • Excited about the latest developments in page layout techniques and when to use them.
  • Opinionated about frameworks and libraries and know how to choose the right tool for the task at hand.
  • Passionate about tooling, frontend automation, and build processes.

Also great if you have:

  • .NET or Java experience
  • Database experience (MSSQL)
  • Design Patterns, Data Modeling, SaaS
  • Scrum, TDD, Git, Jira, Confluence
  • Experience with CI/CD systems, as well as applications deployed to Azure
