Front Desk Night Audit

POSITION OVERVIEW: Responsible for the auditing of all charges and postings and correcting work as required. The Night Auditor reconciles daily activity and closes all accounts in preparation for the new day. All information will be processed and formatted into daily reports and distributed as the morning reports. Check-in/check-out hotel guests courteously and efficiently. Process all payments according to hotel requirements. Provide information and assistance to guests and visitors.

QUALIFICATIONS: * High school graduate or equivalent vocational training certificate.* Previous experience in a similar position in a full service hotel.* Must have good understanding of the English language.* Good communication skills both verbal and written.* Provide excellent customer service and maintain a professional demeanor* Compute basic arithmetic.* Ability to: a) perform job functions with attention to detail, speed and accuracy. b) prioritize, organize and follow up. c) be a clear thinker, remaining calm and resolving problems using good judgment. d) follow directions thoroughly. e) understand guest’s service needs. f) work cohesively with co-workers as part of a team. g) work with minimal supervision. h) maintain confidentiality of guest information and pertinent hotel data.* Previous Front Desk/Night Audit experience.* Experience with computers, calculators or word processors.* Ability to input and access information in the property management system/point of sale system/computers.* Previous guest relations training* Certification in CPR.* Exert physical effort in lifting/transporting at least 50 pounds.* Push/pull carts or equipment up to 250 pounds.* Endure various physical movements throughout the work areas.* Must be able to stand at front desk and exert well paced mobility for up to 8-hours.* Satisfactorily communicate with guests, management and co-workers to their understanding.* Work environment – Front Desk and Back Office Areas. Job involves working under variable temperature conditions and noise levels, in indoor settings, and around fumes and/or odor hazards, dust and/or mite hazards, and chemicals.*Previous experience with Hilton Brand Hotels Preferred*Must be available between the hours of 3pm and 7am (7 days a week)
