Freelance Graphic Designer – Remote Position

Faith Comes By Hearing is a non-profit organization dedicated to getting God’s Word to every person. We do this by recording Audio Bibles in every language and freely sharing them using the latest technology. We currently offer recordings in more than 1,000 languages spoken by nearly 6 billion people around the world.

We are currently seeking a graphic designer to join our team to help us enhance our print and digital presence.

Essential Job Functions:

• Use creative talent and technical skills to manage a variety of projects, including web design, digital ads, email and social media graphics, print collateral, identity development, and more
• Design and optimize art for both the print realm and the digital realm
• Design for mobile and responsive website and emails
• Contribute and adhere to brand standards and theme development

Required Skills:

• Strong layout, type design, and conceptual skills
• Understanding of both print and web space
• Ability to meet deadlines quickly and effectively
• Ability to work with a creative, collaborative team
• Attention to detail and general text proofing
• Understanding of current design trends and best practices
• Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (specifically Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop)

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in graphic design or 3 years training in professional art school
• 2 years of job-related experience
• Outstanding portfolio development

Job Location: Remote Position

Position Type: 200-400 hours annually

This position is based on the organization’s needs; hours are not guaranteed through a retainer or contract.
