Fitter Assitant (Waltloo)

Senmin is looking to recruit a Fitter Assistant to work in Waltloo.

Senmin supplies a range of chemicals used in the beneficiation of minerals. Most of its products are utilised in the froth flotation and tailings treatment segments of the mining industry in South Africa, Southern Africa and further afield. In addition, Senmin provides customers with value-adding expertise in the handling and dosage of its products.

Duties & Responsibilities • Assistance to artisans during general maintenance and breakdowns.

• Assistance on improvements/new installations or modifications to plant & equipment.
• Collections and deliveries.
• General lubrication.
• Assistance with plant set up.
• Assistance on conveyor belts.

Qualifications & Experience • Grade 12 with completed N2 Mechanical Fitter qualification.

• Mechanical training would be an advantage.
• Technical knowledge.
• Must be able to work at heights or in confined spaces.
• Must be prepared to work overtime as and when required.
• Must be prepared to work standby as and when required.
