Job Summary:

The person hired for the position of FP&A analyst within the Industrial Business Group will have an excellent opportunity to work closely with senior-level finance, division & business group leaders on various projects and initiatives. The position is a unique opportunity to see the organization at a high level and work on projects across multiple regions, divisions and functions.

Primary Responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:

• Support Industrial FP&A Manager & Finance Director in financial planning & analysis by driving key analysis to division leadership and finance management
• Self-directed analysis- discover and propose new ways to drive continuous improvement for the FP&A team and Industrial Business Group businesses globally
• Support Operating plan, Strategic planning, QOR & monthly/quarterly financial analysis.
• Ensure alignment and partnership in Support Staff functions by supporting Research & Development (R&D), Supply Chain/Lean Six Sigma, Industrial Business Group Business Transformation, Business Group Human Resources and Business Services.
• Support Customer First Initiatives, SG&A productivity projects, New Product Introduction standardization projects, and global daily sales
• Engage in Industrial Business Group wide investment prioritization and influence outcomes.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university
• Minimum of two (2) combined years of experience in Finance and/or Accounting

Preferred Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business or higher from an accredited university
• Minimum of two or more (2+) years of experience providing financial counsel/analysis
• Strong Finance and Accounting knowledge
• Highly proactive self-starter with ability to drive change
• Experience working on cross functional teams
• Experience with Microsoft Office Suite and/or Longview Planning System
