Financial Management Analyst

LongView International is seeking a Financial Management Support Analyst to support a federal government client. The position location is flexible within the Unites States.

Duties:

• Support client org in various fiscal and acquisition tracking tasks including but not limited to action items, data calls, status reports, collecting updates, and comparing data from multiple disparate sources to ensure data consistency and accuracy.

• Support the client in the Multi-Year Programming (MYP) effort to include meeting coordination, budget input consolidation, updating of key information on Top Investments.

• Support the client in the Critical Funding Need (CFN) process to ensure the CFN Request Form is updated in InfoPath and SharePoint Reports are updated in Report Builder 3.0.

• Update client org acquisition guide SharePoint site, and provide maintenance services for the site, including managing permissions, posting documents, and adding links.

• Maintain and update the Office of Foundational Planning (Financial Management section of the Service Management and Planning group) SharePoint site.

• Maintain and update the OFP Operational Guide (SOP) and associated artifacts (RACI charts, Process Maps, Calendars, Process descriptions, task lists, etc.).

• Support the client through the various phases of the OI&T Budget Cycle (Planning, Programming, Budgeting, Execution: PPBE). Document critical actions and information on the central OFP SharePoint site.

• Use the IT Resource Management Budget Tracking Tool (BTT) to research information regarding various budget actions in support of client requests.

• Support client preparation for transition to the new Financial Management System.

• Support client organization acquisition governance process improvement.

• Complete process analysis and develop process maps and flow maps that outline acquisition and fiscal management processes.

• Assist the client to identify areas for process improvement in financial processes in IT Operations and Service pillar.

Required Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree in technical, finance or business discipline (eight years’ additional relevant experience may be substituted for degree).

• Five years’ relevant experience.

Required Skills:

• Strong customer service skills, teaming skills, and the ability to collaborate within a cross-functional team. Ability to research and resolve problems efficiently and accurately.

• Excellent written and oral communications skills and presentation skills.

• Ability to interact professionally and productively with wide range of client and partner organizations stakeholders.

• Sound understanding of finance and fiscal management principles and familiarity with government budget processes (e.g. PPBE) and regulations (Federal Acquisition Regulation).

• SharePoint site design (SP Designer), reporting (Report Builder 3.0) and administration skills.
