Finance – HR/Payroll Consultant

Finance and HR/Payroll Consultants – ERP experience and knowledge in the areas of requirements definition, process analysis and documentation and implementation.

Finance Knowledge

Candidates will be required to facilitate structured workshop and interview sessions. As part of these sessions, candidates will be responsible for documenting business processes and functional requirements in each of the functional areas listed above. As part of this effort, candidates will be required to identify immediate process improvements and review current interfaces between core functional areas and an organizations ancillary systems. Candidates will be responsible for supporting vendor evaluation activities to include review and scoring of vendor proposals and facilitating vendor demonstrations to include creation of demonstration scripts and development of scoring and evaluation framework. Knowledge, Skills and Experience Qualifications: * Multi-module ERP experience (e.g., finance, payroll and HR functional areas) * Public sector experience (State & Local government) * Strong presentation, verbal and written communication skills with the ability to articulate complex ideas in easy to understand business terms to all levels of management including senior leaders * Possesses strong organizational and task management skills * Possesses good analytical skills * Exhibits effective team skills * Ability to make decisions at the project team level and properly escalate those decisions that cannot be resolved on a timely basis * 5-10 years recent experience providing ERP consulting and implementation experience.

Education: * Bachelor degree in business, finance or human capital management

  • MBA or other advanced degree(s) desirable * Project management experience, PMP desirable Travel: * Some travel to support initial requirements/process workshops and interviews. Computer Literacy: * Demonstrates working knowledge with MS-Office suite of software applications and tools, including: Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Project, MS-Outlook Duties & Responsibilities: * Document business requirements and processes in assigned functional areas * Support development of an ERP request for proposal (RFP)
  • Evaluate and scoring of vendor proposals * Provide ERP management and implementation services
