Financial Analyst, Sales Finance

Who We Are:

Twitter’s Sales Finance team uses financial and qualitative analysis to tackle projects on growth, profitability and operations. As part of the Finance organization, we primarily partner with the Global Revenue & Partnerships team and also collaborate with stakeholders across Twitter in order to drive revenue visibility.

What You’ll Do:

• Build models to analyze complex and sometimes ambiguous business issues: revenue forecasting, market sizing, compensation structures, product launches
• Work closely with Sales management to create revenue growth plans and to determine optimal resource allocation
• Work with large data sets, synthesize insights, and present recommendations to executives
• Design and implement reporting tools for your business partners
• Develop new analytical frameworks using advertiser segmentation, LTV, retention or auction optimization analyses to influence Sales and Product strategy
• Create meaningful presentations and analyses that tell a story focused on insights, not just data

Who You Are:

• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively across different functions and effectively influence business partners
• Detail-oriented while working across a wide variety of projects
• Personable, approachable as we interface with various stakeholders throughout the organization

Requirements:

• Bachelors degree with a strong academic record
• A minimum of 2 years of experience preferably in investment banking, investment management, management consulting, or in the internet industry
• Superior PowerPoint and Excel financial modeling skills
• Experience manipulating complex and large data sets (ability to learn SQL is necessary)
• Possess a demonstrable grasp of Twitter, mobile (i.e., device and carrier markets), web and media market
