Reporting to the Senior Director of Finance, the Financial Analyst, Revenue will provide support and analyses to Resident Shows management to enable the efficient management of human and financial resources. This position will also have functional reporting to the Director of Revenue Management and Analytics.

The ideal candidate will be viewed as a trusted business advisor and must demonstrate excellent analytical skills and attention to detail, be highly organized, self-motivated, and a solution-oriented problem-solver with the ability to handle a variety of tasks independently and efficiently. Additionally, this individual must be energetic, ethical, and desire a challenging work environment.

The primary responsibility of the Financial Analyst, Revenue is to assist in all phases of revenue reporting, including data compilation and validation of ticketing database, daily-weekly-monthly reporting, and dashboarding of key metrics for Cirque du Soleil resident show division.

You will be a champion at:
· Developing in-depth knowledge of show operations and serving as a business advisor to management;
· Developing the annual budgets (per show, per day revenue projections), and monthly forecasting for all shows;
· Ensuring the accuracy and completeness of revenue results of the all shows;
· Analyzing and reviewing periodic results with Resident Shows management;
· Identifying opportunities to improve the consistency and accuracy of the financial information;
· Producing strategic analyses to optimize management decision making;
· Promoting compliance with the organization’s financial policies and procedures
· Monitoring and assuring Cirque and Partner compliance with the terms and conditions of the Performance Agreement;
· Serving as a financial liaison between Cirque’s Executive team, the Shows, and the Partner
· Providing finance support for the development of new tools and methods to support internal customers.
· Assisting in formulating and implementing new financial systems, tools, and methods.
· Assisting in development and daily preparation of all managerial reports used for tracking and analysis.
· Preparing and distributing various daily, monthly, quarterly, and annual reports in accordance with established practices and procedures.
· Preparing various managerial reports for executive review.
· Assisting in development, daily preparation, and communication of all managerial reports used for tracking, analysis, and monitoring of inventory.
· Performing all other job related duties as requested.

You will also lead and direct others by:
· Implementing processes, techniques and tools that optimize the effectiveness of the operating teams and result in quality deliverables.
· Evaluating performance and completion of initiatives.

Ideally, you will have:
· Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or related field;
· Four to six years of relevant business experience; 2 years in revenue analytics
· Recognition for team spirit
· Ability to make decisions in light of the company’s business
· Fluency in English; French is an asset
· Strong working knowledge of Microsoft tools (Word, PowerPoint, Access);
· Advanced Excel skills required;
· Experience with SQL Language is required;
· Experience with Tableau database;
· Experience with an ERP or comparable business information system, (SAP an asset) and reporting tools (‘Longview’ is a plus);
· Strong analytical skills and demonstrated ability to achieve results;
· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills;
· Excellent organizational skills to function effectively with attention to detail while meeting targeted deadlines;
· Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills.
