Financial Analyst – Planning

We have just opened an opportunity for a Financial Analyst on our Corporate Finance team based in our downtown Salt Lake City offices. This position is a key contributor in a broad variety of functions related to financial planning, forecasting, and capital planning. The team reports to the Chief Financial Officer. If you have a flexible mentality towards contributing to a broad array of tasks and functions, this may be the next rung on your career ladder.

Ideal candidates will have the skills and experience necessary to:

• Perform financial analysis on forecasted results
• Develop and improve processes related to financial planning
• Document planning process in the form of procedures, methodology, etc.
• Handle various sizes of data in populating reporting tools and verifying quality assurance.
• Learn new systems when applicable.
• Work in a team environment and independently
• Remain flexible and take on other duties as needed.

Qualifications

What you need to bring to the table:

• Requires a Bachelor’s in accounting, finance or related field
• 2+ years of experience in accounting, financial analysis, budgets or other directly related experience.
• Experience with Hyperion Planning or a similar system is preferred
• Ability to program in Java, Visual Basic, SQL, XML, VBScript, or maxL preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Strong analytical and technical skills.
• Flexibility in job functions.
• The ability to work under time sensitive deadlines.
• Prior experiences (academic or professional) to display appropriate business, financial, and quantitative acumen.
• Past experience in budgeting or CCAR preferred
