Financial Analyst

JOB SUMMARY:

This role is a great opportunity to work for an organization specializing in environmental services, logistics services and specialized transportation that operates primarily in the US. The Financial Analyst role will work in the corporate finance department of Action based in Birmingham, AL. Action is looking for candidates that have 2 to 4 years of financial analyst experience. The role will work closely with the executive management team and other business leaders of Action.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare financial reports to be used in monthly reviews and ad-hoc analysis.
• Applying financial and analytical skills to create analysis and respond to various requests
• Assist in bank reporting
• Assist in forecasting and budgeting process
• Assist with monthly consolidations
• Prepare weekly scorecard metrics
• Additional duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS:

• At least 3 years of general business and financial analytics experience required
• Must have advanced proficiency in MS excel
• Education: 4 Year degree with a concentration in Business, Finance or other related field.
• Computer Science skills a plus.
• Proficiency with other MS Office products
• SQL experience preferred but not required
• Detail-oriented and strong analytical skills
• Strong organizational and time management skills
• Strong communication skills
• Minimal travel
