Financial Analyst

Tiger Valuation’s valuations include a wide variety of companies in the consumer and industrial markets. Consumer valuations range across all areas of consumer products, such as apparel, appliances, automotive, building materials, electronics, food and beverage, furniture, home goods, medical, pharmaceuticals, sporting goods, textiles, toys, and more. Industrial valuations may include inventory related to agriculture, chemicals, construction materials, engineered products, equipment, fasteners and hardware, forestry products, metals, packaging material, printing, pulp and paper, and more.

Tiger Valuation is currently seeking a Financial Analyst in our Boston, MA office.

Job Description :

• The Financial Analyst is responsible for all quantitative analysis aspects of preparing the appraisal report.
• Financial analysts will interact with both the client and the transaction teams in order to meet specified deadlines.
• A successful candidate should have the desire to advance to more senior levels which could include higher profile transactions and more significant travel.

Responsibilities:

• Request, receive, and review company inventory, sales, operating expense and other related. Follow up on all open items with the subject company.
• Communicate open items and status of analysis internally, as well as with client bank and company.
• Review analysis to ensure quality standards and policies and provide recommendations to project leaders. Participate in client meetings/report deliveries as needed.
• Position requires approximately 10% to 15% travel. Qualifications:
• Bachelors Degree in Finance or Accounting Above average PC skills (Excel); familiarity with MS Access Financial analysis experience (internships) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Attention to detail Strong planning and organization skills Ability to work under time constraints
