Position Overview

We are MOD , and we are looking for a Financial Analyst , but we are specifically searching for… someone who loves building budgets and forecasts with a wicked set of analytical skills that can help guide our journey into the future!

In addition to possessing a CRYSTAL BALL , our Financial Analyst must be a BUSINESS PERSON who can interact with the organization and translate business actions into financial models and insight. The right candidate is SMART , detail oriented, a WIZARD with Excel and PowerPoint, and ENERGETIC , but also strategic with an ability to take on challenging and fantastic financial puzzles. To be sure, this FORTUNE TELLER will be able to roll up her/his sleeves to get stuff done, but most of all they will possess a GREAT ATTITUDE , proven ANALYTICAL skills, the DRIVE to get it right, and the ability to have FUN and just maybe, a passion for PIZZA !

Key Responsibilities:
Supporting a rapidly growing business with over 200 stores in the U.S. and the U.K

Own and drive store budgeting and forecasting processes, including management of variance analysis and key metrics reporting

Drive financial analysis supporting our day to day store operations

Ad-hoc analysis

Reports to the Director of Financial Planning

Required Experience:
Basic Qualifications:
3+ years in financial analysis roles

Strong budgeting and forecasting experience

Financial modeling and analysis

Quick learner who is passionate about constant improvement

Proficient with Excel and PowerPoint

Strong communication skills

A degree in a finance related field, MBA a plus

Preferred Qualifications:
A background supporting restaurants or brick & mortar stores

Experience using data warehouses

Public company experience a plus

Physical Requirements

Office work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects. Communicate and exchange information with co-workers and other individuals in person and electronically.
