Financial Analyst

TVD Accounting is looking for a Financial Analyst to join its dynamic, ever-growing Pay TV & SVOD Accounting team. Successful candidate will be responsible for managing customer accounts for Pay TV, SVOD, Hotel and AVOD markets. This includes calculating complex license fees, thorough understanding of contracts, identifying and resolving discrepancies. Other responsibilities also include interaction with customers, sales and legal to implement contractual terms. Provide ad hoc analysis on customer performance as requested. Prepare budget to actual monthly reports for senior management. Reconcile balance sheet accounts monthly and prepare quarterly footnote package. Prepare timely and accurate data for external and internal audits.

Responsibilities
:

• Responsible for managing customer accounts, reviewing license fee calculation, interaction with customers and Sales.
• Reconcile balance sheet accounts, prepare journal entries monthly, prepare monthly flash analysis and quarterly footnote package.
• Additional responsibilities as assigned or requested.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• Minimum 1 year work related experience and knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
• Must be proficient in Excel, Advanced a plus (i.e. vlookup, formula, formatting).
• Strong written and oral communication with customers and senior management.
• Candidate must be pro-active, organized, detail-oriented and have ability to work independently.
• Knowledge of PeopleSoft or similar accounting software a plus.
