Financial Analyst

As a member of the DGCS Finance Team, this candidate will be responsible for and an integral part of the below responsibilities:

Perform fiscal period close procedures including general ledger entries and balance sheet account reconciliations

Provide guidance on the recording of transactions in accordance to US GAAP, policies and internal procedures

Participate in the continuous improvement initiatives to drive efficiency

Reconciliation of 3rd party and corporate gift card orders

Monthly reporting of gift card transactions

Reimbursement of Disney business unit gift card redemptions

Disney Vacation Account (DVA) accounting processes –

DVA bonuses

Guest refund check requests

Wire transfers

Fraud reporting liaison for Credit Card Management and Advisory & Assurance research

Demonstrated understanding of Finance and Accounting skills

Knowledge of SAP and related processes and systems

Experience with Business Objects, or other large relational database

Strong internal control orientation

Understanding of financial systems processes and enhancements

Strong analytical skills and ability to identify and resolve issues

Solid problem solving skills

Experience providing day-to-day financial system transaction support

Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent

MBA or Master’s Degree in Finance
