Reports to our Lead Financial Analyst, in our Finance Department in Houston, TX

POSITION PURPOSE:

  • Responsible under management of Lead Financial Analyst for accounting, control and reporting of TechnipFMC North America’s Building and Facility costs
  • Assists in controlling facilities costs, to include cost improvement initiatives, forecasting, cost savings, etc.
  • Collaborates with multiple teams to provide meaningful metrics and analytics to management.
  • Pays all NAM Facilities Vendors that are facility related.
  • Prepares property tax and facility related journal entries.
  • Reviews AFE’s done by Project Management and gives feedback where needed.
  • Ensures compliance with internal controls and corporate financial policies.
  • Assist Lead Financial Analyst to develop and implement management reporting for North America Subsea Projects and North America Shared Services
  • Assist Lead Financial Analyst to set up Financial Control and Reporting in Shared Services NAM

POSITION DUTIES:

  • Assists Lead Financial Analyst.
  • Collaborates with Lead Financial Analyst to standardize processes reports and deliverables.
  • Uses broad discretion on assignments of varied, diverse and difficulty in nature.
  • Displays a wide degree of creativity and latitude to solve complex systematic issues.

POSITION REQUIREMENTS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or business administration,
  • At least three years of related experience with two to three years’ experience in a manufacturing environment or in project control /project execution is a plus.
  • Strong computer skills including advanced proficiency with spreadsheets.
  • Solid SAP experience.
  • Experience in implementing procedures and controls.
  • Demonstrated ability to solve problems and to design process improvements.
  • Ability to adapt to several software environments in order to have the capability necessary to audit work and to produce useful reports for top management.
  • Demonstrated solid ability to work independently and solve complex, non-recurring problems.
  • Demonstrated leadership/supervisor ability.
  • Must be willing to travel between Houston TechnipFMC sites on occasion.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
