Job Description:

  • Coordinating daily workflow and providing support for various accounting issues including daily balancing, general ledger entries, reconciliations, etc.
  • Analyze, escalate, and resolve complex accounting and operational issues
  • Seeking, recognizing, and implementing process improvements
  • Assisting with projects, including development, testing, implementation, and training new processes and changes in existing processes
  • Interfacing with various departments and representing Financial Control on assigned projects
  • Requires leadership, time management, and strong analytical skills, as well as excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • TSYS (Total Systems), General Ledger, Recon Frontier, and Microsoft Office knowledge and experience is preferred

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent business/accounting experience.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills and the desire to interact with people at different levels throughout the business through multiple mediums.
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable in representing Financial Control Operations and speaking to processes in meetings and on conference calls.
  • Strong attention to detail and understanding of controls.
  • Proven skills to multi-task and easily change directions.
  • Ability to analyze, escalate, and resolve problems.
