Position responsibilities:
Description:
Seeking Finance intern to identify business deviations and provide support to our Timec team. The intern will model and analyze billing rate structures in comparison to financial performance to understand where leakage is occurring and cost efficiencies are to be gained. Track the performance of current billing rates and impact to profitability as well as variances in actual and projected costs. Work with Finance and Accounting to understand the financial impact of our operations teams, and to ensure we are making decisions that lead to increased profitability. By working alongside our experienced team members, you will have the opportunity to understand how each component of our work supports the mission of Ferrovial parent company’s objectives. As the Finance Intern, you will gain valuable work experience with practical application and skill development. Timec is a Ferrovial Services Company.

Minimum Requirements:
Qualified candidates will be enrolled in a relevant Bachelor’s program, or graduate program, with Junior level completed by June 2018. Preferred majors: Finance, Business, Statistics.

Ability to synthesize strategic insights and problem solve to understand key financial drivers of the Business.

Proven ability to formulate, perform and draw an actionable conclusion from complex analysis with very large datasets.

Ability to analyze financial statements, understand and explain business deviation.

Strong analytical, quantitative, problem solving and conceptual skills required.

Advanced Excel skills.

Pass a drug screen and background investigation.

Be legally authorized to work in the U.S. without the need for current or future work authorization or visa sponsorship for employment.
