Position Description

Completes assigned project-focused opportunity in a specific business unit or function, working directly with an Intern Coordinator and Sponsor.

McKesson’s Undergraduate Intern program provides you with an opportunity to experience the healthcare industry first-hand. By applying your education to a real-life working environment, you will receive a solid foundation of experience as a McKesson intern. Through project-based work across key business initiatives, as well as hands-on experience, you will be exposed to many aspects of the business and draw upon your varied skill set. Further, by working in tandem with others, you will build a network of support to help you develop professionally. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry!
Undergraduate Intern Program Details
  • Paid Internship
  • Full-time work for 10 weeks
  • Position will reside in Atlanta area
  • No company sponsored housing, relocation, student visa or Green Card assistance available
  • Each intern is assigned a project-focused opportunity in a specific business unit and works directly with an Intern Coordinator and Sponsor. This is a hands-on opportunity to gain practical experience in a dynamic and growing industry!
  • The internship program also provides networking, access to executives, structured performance & coaching and fun, local activities!
POSITION DESCRIPTION:
As a Financial Analyst intern, you will join McKesson’s Corporate FP&A team and have the opportunity to engage with business partners while working on projects to drive efficiencies across our team.
  • Analysis of Corporate function expenses to produce meaningful variance results and insightful forecast inputs
  • Engage across the FP&A team and with business partners to communicate financial results and recommended actions
  • Maintain databases by ensuring accurate, regular updates of key financial data
  • Support standardization of team activities and deliverables

Qualifications


Minimum Requirements

  • Must be currently enrolled in a degree program for the duration of the internship to be eligible
  • 3.0 minimum GPA
  • Must be currently enrolled in a Bachelor degree program and scheduled to graduate in the spring of 2019 or sooner.

  • Self-starter that brings both interpersonal skills and creative problem-solving skills
  • Able to collaborate with both finance and non-finance personnel
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
