Finance Analyst with New York City Financial Company (Financial District)

Are you a career-minded college student or recent graduate seeking real world experience in a financial company? We are a growing Wall Street based financial company seeking motivated candidates to join our team. This will be an intensive position and provide a major stepping stone towards a career in Finance. You will work directly with senior management, acquiring skills pertinent to credit evaluation, risk analysis, and sales tactics. Ideal candidates have a strong work ethic, are organized individuals who possess excellent verbal and written communication skills, and can work efficiently within a fast-paced environment and with a broad range of personalities. Responsibilities will include:

• Learn how to evaluate credit worthiness
• Quantitative and qualitative financial analysis
• Deal data preparation for underwriting team
• Data management and manipulation using Excel and Salesforce;
• Strategic problem solving and a willingness to learn multiple operations related to risk management and data analysis;
• Interfacing with a dynamic Underwriting team.

No degree is required for consideration, however, a background in Finance or a related course of study is preferred. This is a wonderful opportunity to gain real work experience in a fast paced environment and will be a strong addition to any Finance oriented resume.
