Valens Solutions is actively seeking a Field Service Analyst for Norfolk,
Virginia.

The
Distributed Common Ground System-Army (DCGS-A) Field Service Analyst (FSA) will
provide technical support of the DCGS-A, Army Division. The DCGS-A FSA serves
as a member of a globally distributed team that fields, repairs, integrates,
and maintains client and server systems for the DCGS-A Programs. DCGS-A systems
are a diverse mix of software and hardware solutions designed to meet
challenging intelligence processing, exploitation, and dissemination
requirements for the Army at war. DCGS-A features unique data scalability
requirements and allows for a flexible system evolution.

Analysts
working on the program are required to perform routine system maintenance and
computer system administrative functions.
They must have knowledge of operating systems and database management
systems. The FSA will perform analysis
of system operations and

Must have some experience in fault detection, isolation,
and correction of computer systems and individual peripheral devices.

Must be available for assignment to various CONUS/OCONUS
sites for extended terms.

Military experience is highly desirable. Completion of a U.S. Military Service Non
Commissioned Officer (NCO) or Senior NCO Academy Course and/or Officer Basic or
Advanced Course is desirable.

Field
Service Analyst Experience/Education:

The
successful candidate will have extensive software, hardware, and network troubleshooting
experience. The candidate will able to install, maintain, and troubleshoot
Windows and Linux-based operating systems and software on client and server
machines. Candidate will have project engineering experience and familiarity
with remote system administration software and networking principles.

Bachelor’s Degree in a Computer
Science or related technical discipline. A degree may be substituted with additional
years of applicable experience.

Requires a DoD 8570 IAT Level II
baseline and operating system (Security+ CE required) certification or higher.

Must have a current TS/SCI security
clearance.

Must have a current Security+
certification.

Must have knowledge and experience
with DCGS-A system.

Field Service Analyst Requirements:

Applicant must be able to deploy to
hazardous duty locations.

Candidate must be able to maintain
compliance with the standards of fitness requirement at all times throughout
the period of performance of the task order.

Must have a current TS/SCI security
clearance.

Must have a current Security+
certification.

Must have knowledge and experience
with DCGS-A system.
