Federal – Financial Governance Specialist

The Financial Governance Specialist will support the team leads in project management organization, including maintaining the integrated master schedule, plan of actions and milestones, onboarding and offboarding of resources, and weekly/monthly status reports. The Specialist will support the governance team and major milestone meetings for all internal controls. The candidate will enhance governance and leadership engagement for the Managers’ Internal Control Program (MICP).

Basic Qualifications:

• 3 years of financial management experience
• 3 years of experience in a client facing role
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics or related business or technical field

Preferred Skills:

• Experience in one or more of the following capabilities: MICP; internal controls/testing; PMO
• Excellent communication (written and oral) and interpersonal skills
• Excellent organizational, multi-tasking, and time-management skills

A n active security clearance or the ability to obtain one may be required for this role.
