Acute Services Facility Janitor is responsible for the overall cleaning and sanitizing duties of the assigned location within the Acute Service Department and must maintain all standards based on company cleaning policies.

Must be Able to Preform DHS Cleaning Covid 19 Standard procedures

Assist with daily Laundry Duties of Client linen and clothing

Immediate cleaning responds for bio spills and infestation issues.

Will have daily vacuuming of all office areas.

Breakfast lunch and dinner clean up

Cleaning unoccupied mattresses daily to help with germ control.

Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing, or vacuuming them.

Gather and empty all trash.

Paper refill, clean, and supply all restrooms, sinks, kitchen and nursing areas.

Clean and polish furniture and fixtures.

Clean windows, glass partitions, and mirrors, using soapy water or other cleaners, sponges, and squeegees.

Dust furniture, walls, machines, and equipment.

Make adjustments to AC /Heat Unit and

Minor repairs (touch up painting, graffiti removal or etc.)

Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners.

Notify Facility Supervisor concerning the need for major repairs or additions to building operating systems.

Requisition supplies and equipment needed for cleaning and maintenance duties.

Set up, arrange, and remove decorations, tables, chairs, ladders, and scaffolding to prepare facilities for events such as banquets and meetings.

Maintain trash and garbage control on outside grounds.

Seasonal cleaning.

Cleaning of groups rooms.

Cleaning of frig and microwaves / breakroom.

Assist with large cleaning projects in the kitchen and outdoor grill area.

Assists with Direct Care coverage or breaks as needed.

All applicants must be capable of implementing all of the physical behavior management/ manual techniques (CPI or Marcus Autism Training) for employment.

Qualifications:

Any combination of training and experience that would have enabled the applicant to acquire the necessary knowledge, skills and abilities. Note: Some positions may require valid driver’s license.
