Entry-level Information Assurance Engineer

Bachelor’s of Science degree in Engineering, a related specialized area or field is required or equivalent experience.
Candidates must be able to obtain a Secret clearance. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required.
Qualifications (Preferred):

• Experience solving technical problems in a team environment.
• Familiarity with web technologies.
• Familiarity with cyber security, protocols, cryptography, key management, or Public Key Infrastructure.
• Experience with scripting languages such as Perl, Python, or Shell.
• Experience with requirements tracking tools such as DOORS.
• Experience with defect reporting tools.
• Experience working with an Agile development methodology.
• Good written and oral communication skills.

    Responsibilities for this Position:
    General Dynamics Mission Systems has a need for an Entry-level Information Assurance Engineer in Scottsdale, Arizona. The Entry-level Information Assurance Engineer will:
    
    • Participate in security requirements analysis, requirements management, functional analysis, performance analysis, system security design, trade studies, security testing and scanning.
      
    • Perform interface definition studies of system components and products under direct supervision.
      
    • Support the generation of technical engineering products by using the appropriate standards, processes, procedures, and tools throughout the system development life cycle.
