Working closely with the Head of Global Sales based in Melbourne & the VP of Enterprise Sales based in the US, you will play a pivotal role in identifying and engaging with Enterprise Organizations across North America to secure sales of Typsy’s fast-growing online training solution.

As an experienced SaaS Sales Executive, you will, above all, be a “hunter”, with a true entrepreneurial instinct and hunger. You will offer experience in selling software solutions at an enterprise level, and ideally, have experience and understanding of the hospitality industry.

Typsy enjoys an enviable reputation in our industry and has secured several recent high-profile clients and partnerships throughout the world which has boosted our position and thus the requirement of this role. We have strong investment, have attracted and built a strong internal team to support the sales organization.

The duties and responsibilities of this sole contributor, rock-star Sales Executive include:

  • Present and sell the Typsy learning and development product and service to current and potential clients in your assigned territory, with an emphasis on the Enterprise (Corporate & Academic) segment of the market
  • Follow up on new leads and referrals resulting from in-market field activity and leads assigned
  • Prepare presentations, proposals and be able to be the sole contributor to deliver C-suite level presentations to Enterprise clients
  • Establish and maintain current client and potential client relationships, especially with Typsy’s existing clients in market regionally
  • Prepare paperwork and sales contracts to activate and maintain contract services
  • Build strong industry relationships and speak at identified events and conferences regionally
  • Continually identify and resolve client concerns, and assist with onboarding and account management functions as required in your assigned Territory
  • Prepare a variety of status reports including activity, closings, follow-up, and adherence to goals, as prescribed primarily using Salesforce CRM
  • Communicate new product and service opportunities and any special developments, information, or feedback gathered through field activity to appropriate Typsy staff
  • Prepare other duties as may be assigned

Skills & Experience

  • 5-7 years of Enterprise level sales experience in the online, technology, hotel, hospitality or events industry
  • Ability to work independently as you build the North American region
  • Strong business acumen, and welcome relationship building at a senior level
  • Proven track record of hitting sales targets on a consistent basis
  • Drive, determination and a can-do attitude with an optimistic world view
  • Results-driven collaboration
  • Open and clear written and verbal communication
  • A thirst for learning and documented success working in a start-up culture
  • Thorough understanding of the hospitality industry
  • Ability to travel throughout the region, up to 2 weeks per month

This role is available for an immediate start date and will be based remotely in a home office setting.
