Engineer in Training

Job Description

Perform engineering design on wide array of metal building construction projects.

Analyze load and code data, interpret plans and specifications.

Under close supervision, compile design calculations, reference specifications and prepare engineering submittals for architects, general contractors, government agencies and municipalities.

Assist senior engineers with more complex designs, plans, and calculations.

Work towards achievement of PE license. Qualifications

Must know coding or have understanding of how coding works.

Proficient in Microsoft Excel

4 year degree in engineering

Have EIT certification or will be getting EIT (Engineer in training)
