Electronics Technician

Job Summary: Provide technical level support in the design, development, assembly, operation, and qualification of standard and custom laser control systems manufacturing. Must test electrical systems and continuity of circuits in electrical wiring and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Perform routine testing, data analysis, and troubleshooting of the control box to identify potential risks and ensure specifications are met
  • Collaborate with engineering group to develop and design custom controllers to satisfy customer needs
  • Conduct functional and continuity tests of electrical assemblies and components using test equipment such as ohm meter, volt meter, RF Power meter, oscilloscope and function generator
  • Measure & adjust voltages to specified values to determine operational accuracy
  • Inspect and test wiring installations, assemblies and circuits for resistance factors for operation and results
  • Must be able to follow provisions and guidelines in accordance to ESD protocols
  • Identify and communicate issues and risks to management
  • Generate and maintain production and testing documents for test methods, results and data analysis

Qualifications:

  • AAS or technical school in electronics
  • Basic Electronic understanding of circuits
  • 0-3 years Industry experience
  • Manufacturing experience a plus
  • Working knowledge of oscilloscope, function generator, multi-meter
