Role Overview

A Project Electrical Engineer must be able to be technically responsible for the detailed design and construction of a small to medium-sized Buildings project. They would typically manage and supervise between 2 and 4 Senior Electrical Engineers.

Role Context

The Project Electrical Engineer is part of the Engineering Job Family and Technical Function, which is there to ensure technical excellence, assurance and performance across all projects and opportunities from pre-project, early engagement and work winning through to detailed delivery. All of our engineers are part of our Engineering Enterprise and aligned with our overall strategy to maximise DfMA, Digital Engineering, and Early Engagement.

Qualifications and experience

Professional qualifications

First degree in Engineering Discipline (Electrical), other construction or design related degree, or an industry recognised technical or engineering qualification (NVQ level 4) plus demonstrable experience in a design and construction delivery environment.

Professionally qualified / chartered by a recognised body

Experience

Essential – >8 years relevant technical / practical experience within an engineering role.
