Editorial + Community Manager

Cuyana was built upon a philosophy of fewer, better things, and storytelling is an integral part of sharing this philosophy. We are looking for an editorial manager to own and build upon the Cuyana story, and to oversee the story across several channels. You will be shaping the overall content of the company, as well as building our brand through a clear distinct voice, fresh daily content, and a strong aesthetic sense. We’re looking for someone who has mastery over the written word, who is seeking to be an innovator through storytelling, and for whom the concept of “fewer, better” through simplicity and intentionality deeply resonates.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Establishing Cuyana as a content authority for women’s essentials & the fewer, better lifestyle
• Developing and honing our brand voice
• Building and executing upon a strong editorial calendar
• Creating custom content around collection launches and special campaigns
• Managing and innovating upon our Lean Closet Movement content campaign
• Working with the design team to align visuals with content
• Growing and engaging audience on social media channels (Facebook, Twitter, Pinterest, Instagram)
• Staying up to date on all social media/content trends related to fashion and e-commerce
• Finding and building relationships with potential content contributors and partners

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Bachelor’s Degree in English/Journalism
• Minimum 3-5 years of editorial experience or content experience for a lifestyle/fashion brand
• Strong existing relationships in the fashion/lifestyle networks
• Attention to detail!
• Must be an active personal social media user and have a strong understanding of different social media channels
• Analytical: can leverage customer engagement data to optimize content & social media
• Always-on: able to be constantly checking social media & monitoring updates
• Passionate about fashion
