EDI Developer

Job ID: DM690168130Pinnacle Partners is assisting our client in their search for an EDI Developer. This is a 6 month contract to hire role for an EDI developer to join a team of EDI and RPG programmers. This person will work with the RPG programmers, business units, and external vendors to add more vendors onto their system. They are currently using older EDI technologies, but will eventually upgrading those in 2-3 years to newer technologies when they upgrade their ERP.

When they make this transition, this EDI developer will have an opportunity to learn and work with the new platform they move to.RESPONSIBILITIES: Write EDI transactions between suppliers and customers.Work with 810 and 850’s, x12 standards, and TrustedLink for EDI transactions.Initially about 60/40 projects/maintenance, but once this person gets up to speed and caught up on work it will be 80/20 projects Work with RPG developers on AS400 system.Interact with business users and external customers/suppliers to accomplish EDI projects. REQUIREMENTS: Mid-Senior level EDI Developer with experience working with x12 standards.Experience with EDI invoice transaction sets: 810’s and 850’sExperience working with TrustedLink EDI tool is great to have, but not required.TERMS: This is a Contract opportunity with a salary.
