E-Commerce Operations Manager

an E-Commerce Operations Manager at our Irvine, CA headquarters.

As VIZIO’s E-Commerce Operations Manager you will be responsible to manage day to day execution of VIZIO’s E-Commerce Operations including our Direct Vendor Fulfillment Program and VIZIO.com operations. Primary responsibilities are to improve the workflow to drive operation success based on established KPI’s. This position will require daily communication to internal/external customers on program status, order management, and performance tracking.

Program Management:

• Implement/enhance an operating model for the VIZIO eCommerce Operations

• Develop detailed processes, quality controls, and KPI for a seamless integration of executing a Direct Vendor Fulfillment program.

• Understand, evaluate and problem solve for logistics, operations and other system process hurdles

• Standardize processes by accurately sharing best practices and ensuring ongoing communication with process owners to avoid duplicate efforts.

• Work with internal customers to ensure pricing is accurately maintained within customer’s systems and VIZIO systems

• Manage program forecasts and seasonality to ensure proper processes are being followed for inventory/material planning

• Daily reporting for internal/external customers for performance and order management

• Operational responsibility for ensuring pricing & supply. This includes operational assessment and deployment of promotions.

• The role will have an overall Operations responsibility that extends specifically through to:

• Sales – Updates to the site product availability & pricing

• Order Management – This includes ownership of the payment and fraud services

implementations as it related to VIZIO.com, and the EDI receipt and acknowledgement of Dropship

orders

• Logistics – Fulfilment and ensuring that Logistics is managing effectively timely delivery and

returns management

• Support – Insight into the volume and reasons for eCommerce related calls

• Ownership of a Fulfilment Steering Committee that this person will chair and which will involve input and participation from IT and Logistics

• Extensive and ongoing interface with IT, the technology partner as well as coordinating with other key VIZIO departments eg IT and also Marketing to ensure appropriate levels of support and publicity

• This person will also take on-going responsibility for site IT liaising with the IT team but dealing with and taking responsibility for tactical IT issues which affect the day-to-day working of the site and liaising with IT resources to ensure issues are resolved immediately

Process Improvement & Operational Efficiency:

• Manage the program and the workflow in coordination with all departments – IT, Logistics, Sales, Accounting, Business Planning and Customer Support

• Align with business partners to resolve issues and ensure efficient service.

Required Skills
• Proficient computer skills – MS Office, SAP, Salesforce, advanced Excel skills

• Working knowledge of automated distribution and warehouse systems preferred

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills

• Strong track-record of problem-solving, including structuring problems, performing detailed analysis, and developing/implementing recommendations

• Solid analytical, proactive problem solving, trouble-shooting skills; planning and organizational skills

• Influencing and interpersonal skills for driving results in cross-functional team setting

Required Experience
• Bachelor’s degree required (business and/or analytical discipline preferred)

• 3-5 years of professional work experience working in logistics, supply chain (replenishment), customer service and/or analytics

• Direct experience managing eCommerce Operations from on-line readiness to post purchase support including a working knowledge of marketplace and direct eCommerce processes and technologies

• Experience supporting operations fulfilling in the United States, Canada & Mexico required

• Ability to build and maintain relationships with internal/external customers

• Ability to manage goal setting, tracking progress & department support as needed

• Team/collaboration based approach to decision making; detail oriented and excellent follow up; high drive for results and takes initiative

• Operational agility and nimbleness to adapt to changing retail environment

• Proven ability to automate processes and create efficiencies
