Great opportunity to be an important part of one of New York City’s premier and growing specialty food companies as an organized and analytical E-commerce Operations Associate. The ideal candidate is computer/tech savvy (Windows 10 PCs), detail-oriented, proficient in MS Excel, has accurate/fast typing skills, and a strong interest in creating the foundation for establishing an e-commerce/online grocery business. We are seeking a self-motivated, highly productive, multi-tasking individual to work directly with our inventory department and to help us improve our processes to be more efficient. The goal is to help the team ensure product inventory is always in stock via our inventory management system.

Responsibilities and Duties

Responsibilities will include data entry for received products, identifying low product inventory and recommending purchase orders, identifying/adjusting incorrect pricing of products, coordinating with various managers to do weekly schedules and making sure that they are within budget. The ideal candidate must also be proficient with Excel (macros is a plus).

Qualifications and Skills

Requirements:

~Strong typing skills–60 WPM REQUIRED (Typing test will be given)

~Must have Intermediate to Advanced Knowledge of Excel, which includes use of formulas such as VLookup, Len, Concat, Upper, If/Else, etc. ( Excel test will be given. Ability to create macros is a plus.)

~Extremely detail oriented

~Ability to meet deadlines and follow up as necessary

~Excellent communication skills (verbal and written)

~Prior experience with managing inventory for an e-commerce website / online store

~Must be motivated, responsible and able to keep information confidential.

~Strong desire to work with former Wall Street veterans and gain experience in the produce/grocery industry and operations for an online e-commerce store
