Description: Local Dayton business owner is seeking a digital-savvy marketing assistant and animal lover! This position is ideal for marketing students, summer interns, or college graduates who are looking to add hands-on experience to a resume. Please note that this position is commission-based and requires a self-starter who enjoys booking events and earning commission as a booking agent.

The Marketing Assistant will help grow the owner’s 3 local businesses: Splash Your Pup, Train Your Pup, and TeamZOOM Canine Entertainment. Learn more about these businesses here:

The Marketing Assistant will focus primarily on booking events for TeamZOOM, earning up to 20% commission for each event booking. This work will involve networking, cold calls, and digital/email marketing strategies. New and innovative ideas to grow your commission and this business’s event calendar are welcome!

The Marketing Assistant will also work directly with the owner to develop and execute successful marketing campaigns for all 3 businesses across digital platforms, including Google Ads, social media, and email marketing.

Job responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of marketing for each business, including print and digital marketing
• Create engaging social media posts for all 3 businesses, tailored to each specific audience
• Grow social media audiences across all 3 businesses, using social media marketing tools like HootSuite
• Track & analyze marketing metrics for all 3 businesses
• Provide marketing reports to the owner on a regular basis
• Research venues and book events for TeamZoom Canine Entertainment
• Convert digital users into customers and track conversion
• Develop and execute creative and targeted email marketing campaigns for each business
• Develop and execute Google advertising campaigns for each business
• Develop and execute creative and targeted social media marketing campaigns for each business
• Create and manage a marketing budget for each business

Compensation: Earn as much as you want! We will pay up to 20% commission from event booking for TeamZOOM events, so the more you book for the 2017-2018 calendar years, the better! As an employee, you will also earn benefits for your dog, including discounted daycare, swim lessons, training, and boarding.
