Disney Special Activities Coordinator (Full-Time)

The VIP Tour Coordinator position will have heavy influence in creating meaningful relationships with both small and large scale groups, specializing in hand-crafted special events and highly nuanced VIP Tour experiences that are connected to domestic and international businesses, their travelers, invited guests or even internal groups.

The Coordinator will have a strong hand in building the client relationship while delivering highly specialized VIP Tours for both external Guests and internal teams at Disney.

This position will not be required to participate in tour guiding and be mainly focused on weekend office coverage.

Minimum two years Walt Disney World experience

Proven strong Walt Disney World property knowledge

Flexible schedule including working nights, weekends and holidays

Demonstrated strong Guest service skills

Proven sales experience in a service-oriented, sales rich environment

Proven ability to strategize large and small scale Company and private events, both external and internal

Proven ability to create and execute small and large group events and tours

Proven ability to analyze complex Guest and client requirements, including special planning

Demonstrated rich understanding of event services

Demonstrated computer proficiency within a Windows and Microsoft Office environment

Extensive knowledge of applications such as Siebel, a la carte, Business Objects, Lilo, and ATS

Demonstrated strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as telephone etiquette skills

Demonstrated strong problem solving and decision making skills with the premium affluent audience

Demonstrated ability to manage conflict resolution under pressure

Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information

Proven ability to work well in a fast-paced environment, successfully meeting deadlines

Demonstrated ability to develop effective relationships and partnerships inside and outside the company

Demonstrated ability to influence at multiple levels of the organization

Valid Florida Driver License

Demonstrated passion for Walt Disney World products and services

Proven ability to be comfortable with asking questions and explaining product options to affluent markets and travel agents

Willingness to learn new applications as necessary

Demonstrated ability to work independently

Demonstrated ability to multi-task and follow through skills

Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team

High school diploma or equivalent

Associate’s, Bachelor’s or Master’s degree

Disney Premium Services develops magical relationships that enables the division and the Company the ability to deliver unforgettable Disney experiences.

The Disney VIP Tour Service includes providing unbelievable premium experiences to affluent and special guests of the Walt Disney World Resort. Service includes the ability to access attractions, VIP Viewing areas for shows and parades. VIP Guests include vacationing families, as well as executives and invited guests of the Company in both large and small groups.

The VIP Tour Coordinators assist our guests and internal clients in booking, documenting and managing VIP Tours, dining reservations, VIP viewing arrangements, transportation and other guest experiences. Coordinators Create VIP Tour planning experiences through exemplary sales techniques, solid guest service skills, excellent communication and strong attention to detail. The VIP Tour Coordinators also support the team of VIP Tour Guides and act as the communication hub among our guests, internal clients, executives and VIP Tour Guides.
