The SAP Transformation Director will report directly to the VP of Global Supply Chain and Corporate Systems and be the leader of the team tasked with leading the project life cycle of a global SAP portfolio implementation across Michael Kors Holdings.

Responsibilities

• Develop and manage implementation plan that maximizes the potential of SAP technology while minimizing implementation risk.
• Use knowledge of the S/4 HANA roadmap and industry guidance, strategies, and leading practices to guide and facilitate executive level business decisions.
• Work closely with global stakeholders and decision makers across functions to identify, recommend, develop, implement, and support a cost-effective technology solution for all aspects of the organization.
• Create responsive proposals, work with SME’s in the bid response process, compile and submit bid packages, prepare bid summaries, and track completed bids.
• Manage large team including onsite, offshore and third parties to deliver an effective and efficient SAP solution.
• Partner with application leads to support business process redesign in line with the SAP solution and technology capabilities.
• Responsible for assisting problem resolution and progression of the work program, implementation of processes and initiatives, and management of team resources.
• Facilitate collaborative business process and solution architecture discussion with IT and business application leads to define and build on the delivered SAP solution.
• Lead the development and assessment of new concepts to support the business strategy and provide recommendations to leverage technology for competitive advantage, internal efficiency and improved service.
• Establish and ensure that the data governance and center of excellence is followed within the application systems area.
• Formulate and deploy short and long-term strategic direction and roadmap for SAP with the IT management team.
• Ability to get hands on when needed while managing project schedules, technical risk, issue management, and deliverable tracking.
• Drive training and knowledge transfer sessions to train post go-live support teams so that they can efficiently and immediately support the business.
• Maintain compliance with applicable corporate policies and procedures.

Experience

• 10+ years of demonstrable experience of SAP program management on SAP (AFS and/or IS Retail) and /or FMS implementation programs, including experience leading a large global project team
• Ability to influence and drive alignment to global processes and systems
• Able to lead and mentor across a global and growing business
• Experience in resolving complex business, system, change management and program deliver challenges
• Experience in scaling resource management leveraging a system integrator led program delivery
• Strong knowledge of S/4 HANA with a background in SAP supply chain technology
• Strong knowledge and experience in integration of SAP with non-SAP systems, both internal and off-the-shelf software
• Proven track record of establishing relationships with different key decision makers and business partners
• Experience with project and change management on a global scale
